Our Women's section provides a great opportunity to get into golf or return to it and offers a new challenge for current players, all in a friendly and welcoming environment.
We play every Tuesday morning, with a full diary of medals, stablefords and fun competitions which can be booked on-line four weeks ahead. We cater for those who can only play at the weekend, with all our Tuesday medals and stablefords also open for entry on the previous Saturday.
There are three sets of tees (silver, yellow and green) rated for and used by both men and women, so women can play from tees with slope ratings from 127 to 147.
Our members play in scratch and handicap Surrey Women’s Golf competitions including the Hicks, Pearson, Wallis and Derry as well as the inter-club competitions. We have a lively programme of home and away friendly competitions with local clubs as well as swap days at other GCs.
If you are new to the game or returning after many years, then our Academy can offer lessons and the chance to build new friendships.
We love our golf and also the social opportunities this provides. We actively support the Club’s social programme which includes themed dinners, quiz nights, tribute evenings and fun golf competitions.
Camberley Heath is a great supporter of women’s golf and we are proud to have had a woman as Club Captain, as Chairman of the Board from 2017 to 2023 and currently a woman as Club President.
We are actively seeking new members of all abilities, from beginners to scratch players. So, if you are interested in joining us to enjoy the challenge of our yellow and green tees or the less daunting silver tees with a friendly group of women, please call the office on 01276 23258. We currently have availability for 5-day, 5-day plus and full membership for women.
